SCA at UCLA in David Sedaris, Humourous, Spoken Word, Winners, Writing Contest

We have received numerous submissions for our Humorous Writing Contest and are proud to announce the writers of the winning submissions. Congratulations to:

Joe Tower (Graduate) - "The Monkey Killer"
Merica Merida Teng (Junior) - "Guinevere B. Save"
Diane Gurman (Graduate) - "Do the Math"

The winners received a pair of tickets to UCLA Live's presentation of David Sedaris on April 29, 2009, and had their spoken word piece shown in the West lobby of Royce Hall on the day of the show.

We would like to thank everyone for submitting their work. Look out for more opportunities from SCA.
